Isadora Arruda is a photographer living and working in São Paulo, Brazil.
She received her BA in Fashion Design from Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado - FAAP in 2017 and got into the fashion world for the first time as an intern at the fashion department of ELLE Brazil magazine, where she fell in love with photography.
Isadora has always been passionate about experimental photography. Her work consists mostly of fashion photography in resonance with human issues in the contemporaneity. Enthusiastic to bring new concepts to photography, she enjoys playing with strong and bright colors, different angles, fabrics and textures. Her soft and melancholy images mingle reality and fiction, depicting a fantasy world free from time and context.
Her most recent project - TRANS - aims to present the meanders of gender diverging experiences with a main focus on transsexual, transvestite and drag queen identities, aiming to deconstruct stereotypes and paradigms (check it out here).
